The fan is designed for continuous operation at its rated voltage of 7.2V and is commonly used up to 8.4V. Its aluminium case supports heat transfer during sustained high-load runs typical in track use.
Use the smallest effective mounting method and place the fan where it provides maximum airflow to the hottest component. Combining the fan with thermal pads or direct mounting to a heat spreader can improve cooling while minimising extra brackets.
