Precision replacement ball studs

This 10-piece titanium ball stud kit, referenced as MIF-004, is intended for use at 4.8mm stud positions on the Kyosho Mini Inferno ST 64 chassis. The studs are supplied to serve as direct aftermarket replacements where standard ball studs are fitted on steering and suspension linkages.

Use this set when replacing worn components or when you prefer the corrosion resistance and lower rotating mass of titanium compared with stock steel studs. Installation follows standard practice: separate the linkage, remove the old stud, fit the new stud while confirming full thread engagement and unobstructed ball articulation.

Workshop guidance: assemble with suitable hand tools, avoid excessive torque into polymer mounts, and verify linkage geometry and free play after installation. Where sustained vibration is expected, apply a minimal amount of medium-strength thread-locker on metal-to-metal threads and allow full cure time prior to track use.
