Technical note: MR-015 graphite plate

This graphite reinforced plate is engineered to sit under Mini-Z MR-015 Nissan R34 style shells and to reduce local shell deformation, improving the body-to-chassis interface for more predictable responses during setup and running.

Intended for MR-015 R34-style bodies only, the plate is compatible with the standard Mini-Z body mounting arrangement and uses existing body fasteners; no additional hardware is supplied. Its function is to alter shell stiffness in a controlled manner, aiding chassis tuning and helping keep the body aligned under lateral and longitudinal loads.

Installation follows standard Mini-Z body mounting practice: align the plate to the shell's mounting points, verify suspension and wheel clearance, then secure with the vehicle's body hardware. Re-check clearances after installation and before any competitive running.
