Technical Notes on M4WD-01/PK 2mm Pink Spacers

The M4WD-01/PK spacer set supplies 2mm rings intended for fine stack control on Mini 4WD roller and axle assemblies. These components are designed for clearance management and visual identification during setup; they do not alter primary drivetrain characteristics. Use the pink finish as a quick visual reference when verifying stacked clearance and lateral runout.

In common workshop practice, 2mm spacers are applied to correct minor tolerance differences between aftermarket rollers and original axles, to stabilise roller stacks, and to eliminate unwanted lateral play. Fitment checks should include axle diameter and roller bore measurement before installation to ensure correct seating and rotation.

No material or manufacturing tolerances are specified in the product notes. For applications where material properties matter, obtain confirmation from the vendor or inspect product images. Treat the set as a precision fitment accessory rather than a performance modification.

Excellent service, two of the items I purchased were out of stock but was given fair options on refund, store credit or replacement. I opted for replacement as there was a different version available and one of the items did arrive bent and they sent out
The kit provides 2mm spacers intended for stacking. For precise setup, measure the stacked height with rollers and axles in situ before final clamping.
These rings are used across standard Mini 4WD platforms such as MA, MS, AR, FM-A, Super-II and VS, subject to matching axle and roller bore diameters.
Material and tolerance data are not provided in the listing. If specific material properties are required, request details from the supplier prior to purchase.
After installing spacers, rotate rollers to check for binding, verify lateral clearance at race speed if possible, and confirm consistent stack height across both sides.
They are a maintenance and setup aid to achieve repeatable clearances. They are not a standalone tuning component for handling or power increases.
