Technical steering saver for Mini-T

This graphite steering saver plate is engineered for Team Losi Mini-T applications to provide a stiffer mounting surface at the steering bay. The plate reduces point loading on steering linkages and the servo, helping maintain geometry integrity during impacts and high-load manoeuvres.

Installation follows the stock layout: the plate replaces the factory saver and secures using the original mounting points and hardware. Installation requires only basic workshop tools and allows quick removal for inspection or replacement.

From a setup perspective the graphite part increases torsional rigidity at the nose, which delivers more direct steering feedback. After fitting confirm servo horn alignment, linkage lengths and Ackermann settings, and adjust in measured increments to achieve stable corner entry and consistency lap to lap.

What steering servo torque is recommended?

No specific torque is mandated by the plate, but verify your servo provides sufficient torque for your setup; higher stiffness may expose weaker servos to greater load.

Are any clearance checks required?

Check horn sweep and linkage travel after fitting to ensure no binding occurs through full lock and under suspension compression.
