Technical note for M4WD-08_SG carbon side damper plate

The M4WD-08_SG is a carbon plate produced for use as a structural spare on Mini 4WD competition chassis such as Super-II, MS and MA. It features a low-profile geometry and a focus on material stiffness to preserve mounting geometry under lateral loads.

Installation requires the correct fasteners and compatible chassis mounting points; the plate is supplied without rollers, dampers, springs or fixings. During assembly, verify hole centre spacing against your chassis and use appropriate shims or spacers to maintain correct clearances.

Carbon lamination gives a higher stiffness-to-weight ratio versus standard glass-fibre plates and reduces dimensional shift under repeated loading. For precise fitment, check hole tolerances and deburr as needed before final torqueing.
