This set of three plastic spur gears, 55T, 57T and 59T, is intended for rapid gear ratio changes on Team Associated RC18T cars during setup or between heats. The selection lets competitive drivers tune acceleration and top speed quickly without altering the pinion, enabling faster corner exits or higher straightline speed as required by track conditions.

Installation follows standard procedure: remove the gearbox cover, fit the chosen spur on the gearbox shaft, verify mesh with the installed pinion and secure using the original retaining hardware. Confirm engagement under light motor load and retorque chassis fasteners to prevent gear skip. Maintain original shim or washer stacks to preserve consistent mesh across gear swaps.
