This graphite rear shock tower fits the TAMIYA DF03 chassis as an aftermarket top mount, engineered to position rear dampers accurately and stabilise suspension link geometry. The graphite material reduces compliance at the damper head compared with many stock plastics while maintaining a low mass for consistent vehicle dynamics.

Mounting is a direct replacement using existing DF03 rear tower attachment points and the chassis original fasteners where appropriate. During installation, ensure the plate sits true to the chassis, preserve any original spacers or washers for correct damper centring, and avoid over-torqueing to prevent preload on the suspension bearings.

From a tuning viewpoint, a firmer upper mount reduces top-end deflection and can refine transient behaviour during cornering and load transfer. Use measured comparisons of damper angles and ride height to evaluate the influence on roll and traction when switching from the stock tower.
