Technical overview

This front shock tower is supplied as an aftermarket replacement optimised for use with the Traxxas Revo front suspension layout. The surface finish is silver and the component secures shock top mounts while transmitting loads into the chassis for dependable alignment.

Functionally the tower is a rigid mounting plate that fixes shock geometry and therefore affects leverage, stroke and the suspension response to impacts and lateral loads. It should be considered part of the core setup when changing shock length, spring rate or upper mounting positions to tune handling parameters.
