This front shock tower is a graphite hop-up developed for direct replacement on the TAMIYA TRF 416 chassis. The design provides stiffer front mounting characteristics and multiple shock eyelet positions to allow finer tuning of transient response and turn-in behaviour.
Installation reuses the original mounting points and fasteners, preserving suspension geometry while changing the material stiffness and available shock locations. No chassis modification is required for correct fitment on the TRF 416.
From a setup perspective, fitment of a graphite tower changes the load path and flex distribution at the front. Adjust shock position, spring rate and damping incrementally while verifying toe and ride height to achieve repeatable handling improvements on the circuit.
