Performance bearing set for TT-01 chassis

The TT01-23 full ball bearing set is supplied for use on Tamiya TT-01 and TT-01 TYPE E chassis to replace worn bushings and plain bearings in key drivetrain and steering locations. The set restores smoother rotation and reduces friction where rotational losses affect responsiveness.

Confirm chassis compatibility before fitting. Recommended installation procedure for workshop-level builds: remove original bushings or bearings, thoroughly clean the bearing housings, use a bearing driver or arbor press to seat bearings squarely, and refit using the factory fasteners. Avoid applying lateral force to the bearing race during installation to prevent premature failure.

From a setup and tuning perspective, replacing plain bearings with precision ball bearings lowers friction at axles, driveshafts, and hub mounts, improving drivetrain efficiency and providing more predictable steering feedback. For longevity, inspect bearings for axial play or roughness, clean with a solvent safe for bearings, and apply a light bearing oil to preserve low rolling resistance.

Thank you for your quick response and delivery to us. Well packaged and all as described. We will continue to use you because your service is excellent. A1 service.
Measure bore and housing depth against the bearing outer diameter and width. Correct fitment shows even seating with no axial play and smooth free rotation once installed.
Use a purpose-made bearing driver or small arbor press, appropriate hex drivers for disassembly, and soft-jawed clamps to avoid marring the axle or hub components.
Inspect bearings regularly for grit, smoothness, and play. Clean with a bearing-safe solvent and apply a minimal amount of light RC bearing oil to maintain low friction without attracting excessive dirt.
