Technical bulkhead mount overview

This CNC-machined aluminium bulkhead mount is an aftermarket upgrade engineered for the TT-01 Type-E platform. It replaces the factory plastic bracket with a rigid mounting surface to stabilise gearbox alignment and reduce lateral flex during competitive driving.

The component emphasises tight machining tolerances and repeatable mounting geometry rather than additional features. In practice this improves spur and pinion retention under torque and reduces small shifts that can change mesh during hot running.

Installation follows standard TT-01 Type-E service procedures: remove the OEM bulkhead screws, transfer bearings and internal assemblies into the replacement mount, and secure with the original hardware. No special adapters are required; common hex drivers are sufficient.

Machined specifically for the Tamiya TT-01 Type-E chassis as a direct replacement bulkhead mount for that model.
